It's a pity it isn't done like that in Mandrake. What do other distros
do? I'm trying to look at this from the point of view of a non-expert
who buys a new CDR / CDRW and just wants it to work. Mandrake sets the
drive up correctly if it's there at install time, but I don't think it
has any support for configuring one as described above after the fact.
