a while back i wanted updatedb to look in my mounted iso images...
what's undocumented about updatedb (part of the slocate package) is
that it uses a config file as well as commandline args. annoying.
it's /etc/updatedb.conf and in the default redha config it ignores
iso9660 fs's. it's not on the list in the -e arg in the updatedb call
in /etc/cron.daily/slocate, but it is in the config file. ususally
commandline flags override config files... grumble...
iso9660 is now not on the list so ye old locate call is working much
better.
