Quite a bit. They're releasing their own distribution with apparently some
proprietary extra security bits. Didn't I read that IBM are releasing their
own distribution too ? This must worry RH some.
HP have also released a home entertainment system which is Linux based.

P.S. Interesting snippet in that NY Times article
particularly a new operating system for computer servers that was developed
by Intel and Hewlett-Packard. Compaq is the other large company that has
announced it plans to use that technology, which will compete with
technologies developed by Sun Microsystems and I.B.M.
So Itanium has now become an operating system or are they referring to
something else entirely ? I presume it's the usual clueless journalist
thing.
