My tuppence ha'penny on the matter: Shops that give in the
pointy-haired demand for workstation backup are making a stratetic
mistake: Files of interest to the enterprise should reside on Samba
shares or equivalent, for reasons of data protection and so appropriate
managers and co-workers can have access.
(My view, yours for a modest royalty payment. And you can certainly
find rabid disagreement, without looking very hard.)
