What they suggest is worth a try. At $PRIOR_FIRM, a bunch of overpriced
Cisco Professional Services guys ({cough} $12M of VC money wasted on
a shady e-commerce boondoggle {cough}) kept e-mailing me Visio network
diagrams -- but not for me to edit, so I finally told them to just print
the darned things out and send them over. If somebody just needs you
to admire his little pictograms of people sitting at desks, that's one
solution.
If there's a genuine need to jointly edit files, and that addiction to
Visio can't be cured, then I predict you'll end up running Visio via
VNC or something similar.
