let me see, my sig below | wc is 210 chars, your sig is 218 chars. so
just cause i have one more \n in my sig than you, i'm supposed to be
confused about signatures? my sig will never be bigger than 235 
bytes, which is pretty decent.

i think i meet the netiquette of sigs in spirit, as the "no more than 
4 lines" rule is intended to limit sig /size/. i have no control over 
how many "\n"'s fortune prints, but they'll never be longer than 160 
bytes. thank you.

about the "\n-- \n" - wow... never noticed that space, learn 
something new every day. so that's 20010906 taken care of.
