[ILUG] Alpha Server 1200..bit of a silly question

I have an Alpha Server 1200 here and I'm trying to get some form of Linux or BSD on it (I have NetBSD and Debian for Alpha). It's currently running Tru64 Unix.

My problem is that I cant seem to get it to boot into the installers for any of these. Perhaps the bios is a bit old (1997) in that it doesnt support booting from CD but I cant seem to get into the bios screen to check any of this. The users manual says holding down F2 at boot time will do this but it doesnt seem to, the system just goes straigh into Tru64.

Anyone had any experience with these servers?
