that'd be me.
Two reasons it's not working:
1. PHP won't play nicely with htdig despite all my efforts.
2. The partition I was holding the search database on filled up several
times, so I switched off the update facility.
Now, in light of the above we *should* have either taken down the search
box or posted a note below it saying it was "broken but would be back
soon" or something to that effect.
I believe that there are "things being done" to fix the space issue on
lugh so that problem may disappear in the near future. And the problem
with PHP is one of those "intermittent" ones that work fine when I
tested it from home but then a day later doesn't work for some insane
reason..
