Just upgraded Vi on one of our boxes to Vim60av (just out today,
ftp://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/unreleased/unix/vim-6.0av.tar.bz2) and it's
causing trouble when I use the cursor keys.
If I'm in insert mode and I press any cursor key a character gets
printed on the line above the cursor. ie. I press cursor up and "C" is
printed for each press, press cursor right and "D" is printed (AFAIR).
It doesn't happen with the installed Vi (vim-minimal-5.6-11) but it also
happens on our Solaris box, I let that go, "coz it's Solaris", but now
it's happening on a Linux box I'm peeved.. :|
$TERM=xterm, running inside a screen session.
Can anyone suggest anything?
Donncha.
