liam just sent me this.  the link didn't work for me, but it's there in
newsforge somewhere.  esr suggests passengers carrying guns could have
prevented the attack.

i don't think i can rationally express my disgust.

i hope ilug and blug never work to invite him over to this island in
the future.  maybe someone can mail him something sensible describing
the complete inappropriateness of his story.  i can't.
