Can anyone tell me whats gone wrong.
I upgraded samba to a later version and smb fails to load but nmb loads
fine.
It is running on Redhat 7.0.

[2001/09/13 11:52:34, 0] passdb/passdb.c:pdb_generate_sam_sid(952)
unable to lock file /etc/samba/MACHINE.SID. Error was Invalid argument
[2001/09/13 11:52:34, 0] smbd/server.c:main(682)
ERROR: Samba cannot create a SAM SID.
If anyone has/had a simmilar problem and found a way to resolve this
please email me...
