[ILUG] U.S. stuff

[ILUG] U.S. stuff

In other news, america gov't is using the attack to
push through legislation that tramples over the rights
of their citizens, see slashdot stories
http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=01/09/14/211241
and
http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=01/09/13/2326240

Of course, this won't stop real terrorists and non-us citizens using strong
crytpo, but it will happily allow the US government to monitor everything
joe luser does.

They're apparently busily dismantling the freedom they claim to be
fighting for. What a surprise.

Seems that they're "becoming the enemy", what with the erosion of civil
liberties and the erosion of separation of church+state, certain people in
power over there seem intent on producing yet another religious
fundamentalist regime, only one with large numbers of nukes.

Microsoft has also used the mainstream media's blindness to everthing but
the WTC attack to quietly file another motion to have all findings against
them reversed.
