Funny, I was thinking of writing in to say something similar:

Over the summer a colleague and I installed Linux in 4 of
the computer Labs in the Engineering Dept, Athlone IT -
an increase of 3 from last year.  Linux is being taught as
the OS of choice in a course on Operating Systems, in
a course on Computer System Administration, and in a
course on Human-Computer Interfaces [0]. Not bad considering
there are only 2 of us here [1].

[0] Sounds to me like it should have something to do with
cyborgs, but it's actually about GUI development, e.g. X-windows
programming.

[1] Linux advocates, that is, not staff members!
