I'm connected from home to my work machine at the moment, and it is
like molasses, except not even smooth!
This prompts me to ask a question I have been wondering about for
some time, and haven't found the answer despite rooting around:
How do I find out the speed at which I have connected? It doesn't
appear in the wvdial output, nor in /var/log/messages.
Grinding my teeth (and watching my typing appear in slow motion),
Brendan
