Encryption would be a far better choice for attaining privacy. I wasn't
implying that you were doing anything devious. I was admiring the
devious nature of embedding data into images from an hacker/engineering
standpoint. Somewhat related, image hackery, was a colorization process
developed in the 1800's by the Russian photographer Sergei Mikhailovich
Prokudin-Gorskii which produced color photographs. It's kind of eerie
to look at a 200 year old color still with kodak quality.

And I wholeheartedly agree. I'd rather see people embed data into images
rather than throw bombs :-)
