[ILUG] evolution configuration database error

[ILUG] evolution configuration database error

hi,
I used redcarpet to update to the latest snapshot of evolution yesterday and
since then I have been
getting a "Cannot initialize the Ximian Evolution shell: Configuration
Database not found" error.
Google came up with no results on the above message and nothing gets written
to /var/log/messages to give even a slightest hint on what's gone wrong.

I'm guessing that it's a bonobo issue, and here's what I have installed on
that
front:

[kwg at lewis kwg]$ rpm -qa | grep bono
libbonobo-conf0-0.6-ximian.4
bonobo-1.0.4-ximian.2
bonobo-conf-0.11-ximian.3
[kwg at lewis kwg]$

I've read through the FAQ and have checked that all files are in the right
places and
have the correct permissions. I've also run oaf-slay as root (as the FAQ
suggests).

When I start up, or rather try to start up, evolution via a terminal I get
"evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot access Bonobo/ConfigDatabase on wombat:"
printed out - so my guesses are that something somewhere is not configured
correctly.

I have strace and stack trace outputs if any one needs to look at them.

k.
