Hi all,

Having a wee bit of time today, I decided to lookup various web servers on
the net.
Out of 20 web servers, only 6 were runnig doze.

www.gov.ie runs on NT4 and IIS -> I am not impressed.

www.whitehouse.gov -> Linux

www.cia.gov -> Solaris

http://www.elysee.fr/ang/index.shtm (French Government) -> Linux

http://www.bundesregierung.de/ (German Gov) -> nt4 IIS

www.governo.it/  (Italian Gov) -> NT4
http://www.map.es/ (Spanish) -> Solaris
http://europa.eu.int/ - The EU -> Solaris 8
www.gov.ru (Ruskies) -> FreeBSD
http://www.belgium.fgov.be/ -> some UNIX
http://www.lrvk.lt/anglu/home_anglo.htm (Lithuania) -> FreeBSD
www.president.ir (Iran) -> NT4 - IIS (Surprising eh!)
http://www.arab.net/iraq/govt/iraq_govt.html (Iraq) -> Doze2000 IIS (now
thats a surprise)
www.mincom.gov.ma (Morocco) -> NT4
usinfo.state.gov (US State dept.) -> Solaris
www.google.com -> Linux
http://www.altavista.com/ -> Linux
www.yahoo.com -> FreeBSD
http://www.itn.co.uk -> Apache on some UNIX
www.ireland.com -> Solaris
Later,
CW
