Oh, the horror. I have it running (amazingly, even after several Perl
upgrades), but that process of installing modules is just tedious. Get
both umodpack and xumod, then follow the old Perl 5.0.x instructions in
there. If that doesn't work, it's time for someone to write a utility
without so many strange dependencies :/

(I've just finished a rudimentary EA IFF 85 reader/writer, so I might
have a go at libumod, or something..)
