After a brief conversation with my partner I have decided now is a good
time to find a new home for the hardware which, as she put it, is
cluttering up our dining room.
There's an Apple IIfx with a Two Page MONOCHROME monitor without leads,
keyboard or mouse. The monitor is very large, I take it that two page means
you can see two pages of A4 actual size.
I also have an external quad speed SCSI CD ROM drive. Yes, it does have a
lead. No, it does not have a play button though it does have a pair of
phono sockets on the back. (No brand name, model no. XM-3501S)
Ideally I'd like to swap them for an external CD drive with a printer port
interface, a > 200MB laptop hard drive, a PCMCIA network card and some RAM
for my Toshiba T1910CS. (Partitioned 20MB Win3.1 180MB Debian).
Realistically I'll take what I can get.
Hopefully this will restore multi-syllable communication with my partner.
(Just kidding)
Have fun!
