[ILUG] Quick question

[ILUG] Quick question

John Madden maddenj at skynet.ie
Thu Sep 27 15:01:09 IST 2001

Donncha,

I tried that but when I rebooted, resolv.conf had been rewritten with
the old settings. Is there some network script that writes that file on
boot?

On Thu, 27 Sep 2001 Donncha O Caoimh didst pronounce:

>Edit the file /etc/resolv.conf and change the IP address there. Unless
>of course you've done some fancy "profile" stuff with Linuxconf, then
>look in /etc/sysconfig/ for the IP address, it may be there!
