Hi,
Since the message below I thought of checking var/log/usr/log. It gives the
reason as "request from unauthorised host". It seems that RPC needs an entry
in hosts.allow . Any idea what that line should be?

Hi,
I am trying to install Mandrake 7.2 (over the network) on an old 486 with no
CD from the CD on my Linux box.
I have made a boot floppy with a network install image. I have NFS
sucesfully runing on my main machine.
The install recognises network card etc and gets as far as the following
error "mount: RPC: authentication error"
I have added both the host name and ip number of the 486 after /mnt/cdrom in
the /etc/exports file. I have the cd mounted (using linuxconf)
Any ideas as to where I am going wrong?
