[ILUG] Syncing Visor in Linux?

[ILUG] Syncing Visor in Linux?

John Gay johngay at eircom.net

I've been playing with my Visor for some time now and quite like it. It is
certainly better than my old PalmIII. I can back-up and install software with
my Linux box using JPilot and coldsync with no problems, but I can't seen to
find anything for the more useful things I could do with Windows, if I had
Windows.

I used to sync my old PalmIII with Lotus Notes for E-Mial using a special
Lotus app provided from my old job. How can I do this with KMail?

I also use ThinkDB2 and MiniCalc quite regularly. MiniCalc is supposed to be
Excel syncable. With several spreadsheets on Linux also Excel compatable I'd
like to be able to sync my MiniCalc sheets to a Linux spreadsheet or sync
ThinkDB2 with a Linux Database?

I'm sure there are many other programs that could be sync'd, if Linux had the
proper Visor desktop and I knew how to configure the conduits but I can not
find anything about setting up Linux conduits on any of the regular Linux or
Visor/Palm sites.

Any tips, hints, links and URL's greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

	John Gay
