Reiserfs has never given me trouble once and it is a whole lot faster then
ext3.
EXT3 crawls for example when installing Red Hat 7.3 to a Dell Hardware Raid
jobby, the poweredge 1650 I believe and having observed the speed difference
between Reiserfs and Xfs and EXT3 there is no contest, I would use Reiserfs
on most installs of Linux I would do or XFS because it's (mature)
supposedly.
