[ILUG] configure syslog to stop logging pop3 stuff

[ILUG] configure syslog to stop logging pop3 stuff

Hi,
I'm a bit lost in the syslong.conf. (newbie hat still firmly in place)
I want to log only pop3d errors on my local mailserver, instead of all pop3
connections.
I *think* the 'mail.*,mail.info /var/log/maillog' line is the culprit.. can I
change this to 'mail.errors	/var/log/maillog', or is it more complicated ?

This machine also runs sendmail and mailscanner, so I want to keep logging the
sendmail and mailscanner info messages.

My syslog.conf contains:
<snip>
# Log anything (except mail) of level info or higher.
# Don't log private authentication messages!
*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none                          /var/log/messages

# Log all mail messages in one place.
mail.*,mail.info                                        /var/log/maillog
<snip>
