Um, which kmail? I'm using kmail 1.3.1 (actually I'm using mutt which
completely fails to explain why I'm asking about kmail) with kde 2.2-11
(actually I'm using WindowMaker but that's what "about kmail" tells me.
libs I presume). Anyway, I have mail spool mounted over nfs but kmail
doesn't see the maildir spool. It see's the directory but doesn't cop on
to the fact that it's really a mail spool. When I do a "check mail" I get
"can't open file://var/spool/mail/cdaly". Permissions are fine, 755 on
the directory itself and 700/600 under that. Kmail's help mentions tools
to convert maildir to mbox for use with kmail but that's _not_ what I have
in mind!

Incidentally, mozilla doesn't seem to understand either never mind only
allowing POP or IMAP accounts at creation time...

Conor (am I only allowed use mutt?)
