There's your problem, clear as day - isn't debugging output wonderful.
fetchmail can't connect to an SMTP server running on your box, most likely
because there isn't one, although there could be other reasons. If you don't
have an SMTP server running on your box, you absolutely need to install one -
it's what fetchmail uses to deliver mail it has fetched to you. Postfix would
be my recommendation, but that's only because I find readable configuration
files a feature.
