Prices have gone up so - when I first heard of ESAT's offering it was priced
at 99 / month. I looked at their web site but I didn't keep copies and I
can't find pricing on-line now. However, I did find this:

http://www.esatbt.com/esatcom/homepage/products_solutions/access/dsl/dsl-benefits.htm

which has this customer quote:

"Since we obtained DSL from Esat BT we now have a permanent high speed
Internet connection for €90 per month. This is resulting in substantial cost
savings for us as well as the added bonus of having a more reliable and
faster connection."
Bord na gCon / Irish Greyhound Board

If ESAT has now doubled the charges, I can only guess that it's because the
long screwed Irish mark^H^H^H^Hcustomer is willing to pay for it because it's
still cheaper than the alternative.

In that case, if you have the choice i.e. you're in an area served by Esat AND
Eircom with ADSL, you can make up your mind based on price and perceived
service.
