[ILUG] Samba--smbclient will, smbmount won't

Hows about 
# mount -t smbfs -o username=halpin,password=yourpasswd
//servername/sharename /mountpoint ???

smbmount //server/sharename /mnt/sharename -I 192.168.100.100 -U name -P

I'm trying to smbmount a remote NT share without success, though I
can access it with smbclient:

Any ideas, explanations?
