[ILUG] Mandrake 9 CDs available?

[ILUG] Mandrake 9 CDs available?

Pearse Stokes ppstokes at hotmail.com

Linux Format December 2002 edition has the Mandrake 9.0 cds (first two of).
I've received the three-set download edition which does everything I have
asked it to, including warming the cockles of my heart.

If you want copies of Mandrake 9.0 and are in the Dublin 12/24 etc areas,
we're in Park West and can provide same in return for three blank 80 min
CDs. Better to e-mail me your requirement in advance, as I don't keep spares
around (family and friends keep snaffling them up).

As a permanent newbie, I'd recommend Mandrake 9.0 to anyone - in terms of
ease of install and relatively few glitches in use.

Since Linux is clearly going to be so pervasive in the future, Mandrake 9.0
(with it's list of free games and really cool desktops it is a perfect gift
for the younger user. My 14-year old can't believe the range of 'looks' it
can have, and can't wait to 'play' with the settings. (not to mention the
games!)

As often the case, the free Christmas gifts are often the best!
