[ILUG] [LONG] sort strangeness ?

dd_sorted_0118.tmp was the file from the script?  does the script set
PATH - is it using the same sort as you're using at the command line?
is it using the same args - the script isn't using -n is it?

the above looks like a sort -n .

and this one looked like it was just a normal sort.
