I think this might be a problem with your PPPoE client. These messages
don't appear on other PPPoE client implementations (FreeBSD for example).
ISTR this being discussed before on this list.

If the messages are appearing every 125 seconds, then it's an IGMPv2
query from the ISP. If the client does not understand IP multicast,
it might be discarding the packet and reporting the above error.
