Anyone using it ? I've got part of it working ie as root I can chown a file to
a user who is only defined in ldap but when doing a simple login ( with a
user who exists in passwd file ) I get .........
Authentication service cannot retrieve authentication info.
When I try to log in as a user who is in the ldap database I just get
a login incorect error message ...
Here is ldif for the test ldap user ....
# nsstest, Users, ossidian, ossidian, com
dn: uid=nsstest,ou=Users,o=ossidian,dc=ossidian,dc=com

userPassword:: e1NTSEF9OE5WSmtwSkJRRzFCMDM0UUl6ZFl2N1BUd1B3d0w0SHI=
The above is from ldapsearch One thing that I have noticed is that the
password for this account is different in the gq ldap browser
it is {SSHA}8NVJkpJBQG1B034QIzdYv7PTwPwwL4Hr
This strikes me as odd .... why is this ?
Any ideas people ?
Anyone else doing this stuff with success ( I've managed to get it working
nicely with samba though )
