true - isnt the module to connect to exchange a seperate package though?
or has that since changed? Last i heard it was a commercial product..
Probably a lot cheaper than outlook and exchange and the cost of associated
problems i'm sure though. Has anybody here sucessfully migrated workstations
for secretaries and other non-technical staff to Linux for their entire
organisation?
Unfortunatly some companies walk around blindfolded: "We use Microsoft
because it industry standard", "its proven in industry", "its well
supported"
and other nonsense...
The one I always get from other technical people when i mention linux is
"Oh you're one of them" which is a euphamism for "you weird *******, why
dont you stop being a nerd and use normal stuff like everybody else"
