[ILUG] Sound Card Config question

[ILUG] Sound Card Config question

Richard Eibrand reibrand at maths1.kst.dit.ie

Howdy all,

Anybody come across a problem where the machine seems to forget
the soundcard settings from one boot to the next.
My machine has a tendency to forget this, so if I want to listen
to music, I have to re-run sndconfig (which correctly identifies the
sound card in question), do the tests, which work fine, and then I
can listen to my music.

Its a tad annoying, so I was wondering if anybody has come across this
type of problem before, or could anyone help me in figuring out why it is
doing this...

TIA,

Richard
