OK Nialler, fair nuff, I can't read a map to save my life. 3 years in Sea scouts did me no good at all - except I can tie a masterfull knott - usefull for the kids :)
I'm still looking into this even though things are beginning to look bad. The max distance is approx 300m for 802.11b, still researching 802.11d and related bits and bobs. But trees are a major pain - the reason I couldn't put up my lovely satelite dish which in turn was robbed by in-laws. Things are looking bad before I even start :(

Where'd you learn to read a map, Conor ? :-) There are two red spots on that
map west of the M50 and south of Clonsilla but they're quite some way from
Lucan. In fact, with the scale of that map and the size of the red spots, if
there were two in Lucan village it would be obliterated :-)
