[ILUG] Java script differance between Linux and M$

I have a simple bit of Java script

embedded in a web page under M$, either Netscape or IE, I get 

Updated: 02/06/2002 13:42:20

Under Linux, Opera or Netscape I get

Updated: 0

Is there some differance I should be aware of for gettin the modification 
time in Linux.
