nope, satellite both ways, upload is slower than download though.
at their minimum deal its 256 down and 64 up.
at their max 2048 down and 320 up.
yes all the old satellite systems used conventional modems upstream, no ,
the new ones dont

Alas,
This came up somewhere else about a year ago? here? can't remember. Anyway
the problem is that you still have to do your up-link via the conventional
methods. satellite is only good for downloading stuff.
