The latency (probably in the 600ms range) *might* be tolerable for X and
VNC, with the bandwidth making up for it, but you can totally forget
Quake and friends.
If anyone ever gets LEO satellites working, then you'd be talking
something useable - 20ms. That's quite a way off. 2010 if we're lucky.
