FreeBSD does.  Debian does.  I tried both on a VA Linux 2240 with Mylex
RAID, recently.  Linux-Mandrake 8.1, on the other hand, choked mightily,
though I tried that on server hardware only for the novelty.

You're going to be using a driver for the DAC960 chipset.  See:
