Mandrake's Samba configuration tools include one which sets up your Windows
shares for you, and SWAT, which requires a specific IP address for the WINS
server if you need one.
Their network configurator in the "Mandrake Control Centre" doesn't deal
with Samba.

Mandrake have fancy tools, mainly scripts, to keep the user out of pain,
and
in ignorance. Some are good, some are bad. I'm sure there's one for samba in
the distro. Can you call it from Linuxconf?
