[ILUG] mutt & .mailboxlist

[ILUG] mutt & .mailboxlist

Mornin',
I'm trying to find out what the standard format for the .mailboxlist
file is. As far as i can tell, it's used by imap clients to store the
subscribed mailboxes in. However, suirrelmail (a web-based imap client)
and mutt seem to have different idea about what that format should be.
Mut up till this point has been happy with the file containing
	inbox folder1 folder2 folder3
etc. However, squirrelmail complains that "inbox folder1 folder2
folder3" does not exist. It seems to want
	inbox
	folder1
	folder2
	folder3
If i do that, mutt complains that there folders do not exist. Argh. Any
pointers? I've tried googling for "mutt mailboxlist format" and "RFC
mailboxlist" and I've come up emptyhanded. The imap 4.1 rfc doesn't
mention mailboxlist at all. What's the story people?

TIA,
Steve
