[ILUG] KDE & fonts

[ILUG] KDE & fonts

Declan Moriarty declan.moriarty at ntlworld.ie

I have built X-4.2.0 from source here on one system, and am trying to get it
running nicely. Everything of importance has been stood up except kde, which
comes up with tiny menu widths, and infinitesimal fonts and is basically
unusable for this reason. This screws up all the kde applications, including
kcontrol, which adjusts the fonts somewhere somehow.

I have the old /usr/X11R6 tree in /usr/oldX11, and a correct enough system on
another partition. What do I fiddle to fix it?
