Running the card manager software fixed this sort of problem. I spent
another few hours, let paul have a bash at it...and then he noticed on the
web that Orange were selling cheaper, operator-locked card phones.
Guess which was bought for us to play with. Bah. And of course, it didn't
have Roaming enabled when we did put on the orange card (bought in the
UK!).
Nothing is ever easy.
