Well, not a Compaq employee, but have worked quite a bit on cpq hw......

Looks like you found a nice little Desktop machine to do your testing on. 
This should do you just fine. All the parts seems like they are supported 
under Linux just by browsing the spec sheet. Can't see that you'd have any 
probbs installing this baby!
