Hi all,
This maybe an old question but if you take a domain name away from Indigo as
a hosting provider, even though they remove the domain name from their
nameservers, their mail servers still hold the previous information and if
anyone sends mail using an Indigo dialup account, Indigo's mail servers
either (a) trap the mail if it was consistent with an old address or (b)
returns it saying it is undeliverable.
I have heard that this is something to do with a .dat file which stores host
information on the mail servers locally. Can anyone tell me is this true
and why Indigo are not able to remove all their redundant information,
regarding the domain name from their servers, once a user no longer hosts
with them.
