But removing zone files just reflects the information in their primary and
secondary DNS servers. As I understand it the mail relay servers have their
own DNS contained in .dat files, and even thought the information is removed
from Indigo/Eircom DNS the mail servers do not reflect this and as I said
the mail gets stalled.
Or am I in a different DNS world altogether. Another explanation maybe that
even though the host (domain name) is removed from DNS, the domain name is
not removed from the local-host-names on their sendmail servers, which would
also cause this problem. Could anyone confirm that one for me?
