[ILUG] ILUG The Screen Buffer

[ILUG] ILUG The Screen Buffer

According to Kieran OSullivan:
> Sorry I should have been a bit clearer in my original post I know about the Page Up (or Pig Up for all the Simpsons fans) sutff I was wondering how could I access the text using say the grep command.

I don't think you can, easily. Might be possible to hack around with whatever's
in the XTerm app-defaults file to select the text and copy it to a cut
buffer where stuff like xprop can get at it.

Actually, it'd probably be a neat hack, if it's possible... can't say I can
find useful entries in the Control Sequence doco, though.

You could always switch on logging and grep that.

Cheers,
Waider.
