Do it over the "network".
Remember that its a virtual PC - just so happens that you know its not a real one. But the PC doesn't know. I've used VMWARE here from and copied files over the V-Network.
So in my example.
from your linux box, use samba to mount the doze shares.
mount -t smbfs -o username=askyourma,password=askyourda //dozepcnameonwmware/sharename /mountpoint

Subject: [ILUG] VMWare
I decided to mess around a bit with vmware - mostly because I would like
to run Linux as my main os but still switch to Windows without a reboot
to use a couple of programs that are important to me - Dreamweaver, and
flash mostly.
I already have set my pc up as dual booting - two 40gig hd's - Suse
Linuxon one, and windows on the other. I've loaded vmare on Linux as the
host - but can't figure out how to "mount" the windows disk as a virtual
machine. Anyone else out there using VMware with any experience in this?
