| Do what I do...mail them a URL to a Text one. It's sufficent.

thanks for the suggestion.
actually, I do do that, explicitly pointing out my website with varied
formats in the cover e-mail, and also in my .signature .... hasn't
worked yet! perhaps if I didn't attach my CV ? (the people I won't
deal with at all are those who seem to insist that a CV be submitted
via their website.)
the problem seems to be more with agencys, and (to a lessor extent)
the HR dept of larger companies. if I can _get_ the CV to the
appropriate tech manager (which is what I usually try to do, the
problem here being getting the name/title) or a knows-me insider,
things are Ok --- for the reason you imply, namely, I won't work
for M$-loving b*****ds.
