Robert,
I'm using sendmail 8.12.2,
I think its these lines from the .mc file :

FEATURE(`allmasquerade')dnl
FEATURE(`masquerade_envelope')dnl
MASQUERADE_AS(`mydomain.com')dnl

I'm not sure which of the feature lines you need !!
